Alina Wheeler : Designer, Consultant, Author, Speaker

What I am working on now:

Working with a hybrid team of internal employees and external consultants to build a process to achieve consistency across marketing channels, business lines and functional areas. Working with holding company leadership of a private equity firm to bring a disciplined process to communications. Collaborating with best-in-world designers to create new brand identity systems. Teaching executives about branding fundamentals they never learned in business school or life. Speaking to corporate executives and communications/marketing/web/pr/design departments at companies and marketing and design students at universities about the fundamentals.

What I have worked on in the past:

Wrote a book published by John Wiley & Sons because there are too many strategy books and not enough easy to understand road maps for the process. Designing Brand Identity: A Complete Guide to Creating, Building and Maintaining Strong Brands is being sold in America, Europe and Asia. Led a multidisciplinary team to build a financial services company for women. Launched the highest paid insurance sales force into worksite selling. Worked behind the scenes to prepare CEO’s in a merger for a new name. Worked on developing a gender consulting business for a big four accounting firm.
